Breakdown

A light shining on the path ahead of me,
I want so much to follow, but it stll seems hard to see.
Searching for a way toward my heavenly home,
I'm following my foolish pride, it seems I'm all alone.

Just up ahead of me, I hear my Jesus speak.
His voice is kind and gentle, my heart feels weak.
So i fall down on my knees at my Saviour's feet,
I break down...and He says...

Don't be afraid, my child, I am on your side.
Everything will be alright, in a little while.
Give me your troubled heart, I will make you mine,
Everything will be alright, all you need is time.

He wraps His arms around me, and lets me cry,
The tears flow freely, but I know that I'll get by.
For the moment, one moment in my life,
I feel the peace He brings, and everything's alright.
