| The house was old And made of brick When I was only ten, A little town in the desert Where I had never been. Elgin was it's name, I know For my sister and I were frightened so. At first everything was hunky-dorey It wasn't till later That we began to worry. Flying objects, Things disappear. Hands pushed through glass, Things reappear. Quiji boards, behind closed doors An evil spirit That laughed with a roar. My sister and I shared the same bed We covered our heads And prayers WERE said! Jesus sent angels to sleep with us at night To keep us And protect us With His glorious light! Jesus is so Wonderful! He's Everything to me! Friend and Savior! Lord and King! He came to set me free! I'm so thankful for His love His tender Warm Embrace My love for Him just overflows When I look upon His face! |
