As I Hang Upon this Cross

As I hang upon this cross

you come to me this day,

Yes my child, I will wash

your sins away.

Oh beloved don’t be afraid.

To look upon my brow,

The sins for you I have paid

Right here, and now.

Your sins are no more they lie upon this cross,

For this calling by God, I save the loss. ….

Let my blood pour over, for the entire world to see,

For when I come to gather my own,

In my arms you will be.
